The Play "Kamancha" was Staged at Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL)

On December 20, the play "Kamancha" by great playwright Jalil Mammadguluzadeh was staged at Azerbaijan University of Languages ​​(AUL). The students of University performed the spectacle directed by Saadat Nabiyeva. At the end of the play, the idea of ​​humanism which it wanted to convey to the people was reconciled with multiculturalism, which is the actual issue of our day. In the end, the students expressed their opinions on multicultural values ​​in different languages. Rector of Azerbaijan University of Languages, Full Member of the ANAS, Honored Scientist Kamal Abdulla thanked everyone who contributed to the staging of the play. He noted that the performance performed by the students was a response to the sufferings and pains of the Azerbaijani people. Appreciating “Kamancha” not only as a play , but also as a life style, K.Abdulla,called it  to be an indicator  and  symbol of the Azerbaijani view of the world at the even most difficult moments. Rector K.Abdulla noted that despite the massacres and killings of Muslims in different parts of the country in the past centuries, could be a real reason to  have inner rebellion in himself, the Hero-captain is the best pattern of the Azerbaijani manifestation of the world. Mentioning “Mirza Jalil's response as the response of the Azerbaijani people, Rector  called "Kamancha"to be a pearl or a small bud in the world drama level. Speaking of the students' ability to perform the idea of the novel skillfully, Rector stressed the importance of staging this play in other languages ​​and other places. He said that the main political and ideological aim of the President Ilham Aliyev is to liberate the occupied territories peacefully. Speaking about Azerbaijan’s voice for justice to the world, Rector K.Abdulla added that this voice can be heard in the works of Jalil Mammadguluzadeh, Mirza Alekper Sabir, Uzeyir Hajibeyov and many other prominent personalities. Speaking about the rich literature of Azerbaijan, Rector K.Abdulla advised the students to study and learn from the ancestors. He said that the people had inherited the multicultural values ​​from their ancestors, and noted that Kamancha is an extremely actual play today and teaches people much.
