On June 19, Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Azerbaijan Dmitry Pinevic. The Rector of AUL, academician Kamal Abdulla, greeted the diplomat and expressed his joy at his visit to the university. During the meeting, it was noted that Azerbaijani-Belarusian relations are of a strategic partnership and are dynamically developing in the ascending line: "We are connected by strong friendly relations. As in other spheres, scientific and cultural cooperation between our countries is also growing. The Center for Belarusian Language and Culture, operating at AUL, plays an important role in strengthening these ties. Students of our university show great interest in the Belarusian language and culture".

During the meeting, the Rector acquainted the guest with the activities of the international centers operating at the university and invited him to the upcoming "Graduate Day" holiday. Thanking for the warm welcome and hospitality, Dmitry Pinevich highly appreciated the international authority of the AUL. He stressed that the two countries have historically developed friendly and partnership relations, which are successfully developing in the scientific and cultural sphere.

Then the diplomat got acquainted with the activities of AUL Center for Belarusian Language and Culture.

The head of the Center Sergey Klimov spoke about the activities of the Center, presented exhibits reflecting Belarusian culture, and informed about the events held.

At the end of the meeting, there was an exchange of memorable gifts.
