The opening of the Center for Azerbaijani Language and Culture took place in Uzbekistan

The grand opening of the Center for Azerbaijani Language and Culture took place at the University of World Languages of Uzbekistan.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Vice-Rector for Educational Issues of the University of World Languages of Uzbekistan Muhammadjan Shutpoladov, Vice-Rector for International Relations of the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) Jala Garibova, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Uzbekistan Hussein Huseynov, the leadership of the House of Azerbaijani Culture operating in Uzbekistan, as well as the Deputy Chairman of the Free Trade Union of Education Workers of Azerbaijan Techranaga Abdullayev.
It was noted that the opening of the Center for Azerbaijani Language and Culture will make a positive contribution to the development of scientific, cultural, political and educational partnership between the two countries.
AUL Vice-Rector for International Relations Jala Garibova conveyed the greetings of AUL rector, Academician Kamal Abdulla, and told about the directions of the center's activities.
It was emphasized that the Azerbaijan University of Languages continues to actively develop international relations, and the opening of the Center for Azerbaijani Language and Culture at the University of World Languages of Uzbekistan is of particular importance in this context.
During the meeting, there was an exchange of views on the prospects of the existing close cooperation and friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
The importance of Azerbaijani language and culture centers operating in a number of foreign universities in terms of the development of scientific and cultural ties between the countries was especially emphasized.
