On 14 May the Rector of Azerbaijan University of Languages, the Full member of the NASA Kamal Abdulla received the Director General of the Austrian Exchange Service Stefan Zotti.

Greeting the guest, Academician K.Abdulla expressed his wish to see the Austrian students and scholars at the AUL more often.

The AUL Rector added that scientific conferences, roundtables jointly with the Austrian scholars would make significant contribution to the fruitful mutual cooperation.

K.Abdulla, who touched upon the activities of the Austrian Centre at the AUL, also stressed the necessity of taking some steps to launch the Centre for the Azerbaijani Language and Culture at one of the Austrian universities.

The Director General of the Austrian Exchange Service Stefan Zotti said that they were interested in better establishment of the academic relations between Austria and Azerbaijan.

S.Zotti, who stated that he met the AUL Rector’s suggestions positively, said it was necessary to take actual steps for the realization of these suggestions.
