A lecture on “Political Anthropology in Russia” was Delivered at AUL

On November 17, a lecture on "Political Anthropology in Russia" was delivered on the initiative of the Scientific Research Laboratory of Russian studies within the framework of the project “Auditorium +” at Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL). Welcoming the participants of the event firstly, the head of the Scientific Research Laboratory of Russian studies, Professor Mammad Aliyev informed the guests about the development of various branches of anthropology. He pointed out “many innovations happened in the field of anthropology thanks to the globalization, socialization of the society and the development of international scientific relations and some of the considerations of this science have kept their relevance in modern times”.
The chief researcher of the Scientific Research Laboratory of Russian studies, PhD on Political Sciences Eldar Amirov touched upon the trends and problems of the contemporary situation in the political arena, the essence and history of the science of anthropology and, the views of the classics of this science. He spoke about the prospects of political anthropology in Azerbaijan, as well as the study of these issues in the experience of Russia and Turkey.
Deputy head of the representative of “Rossotrudnichestvo” Office in the Republic of Azerbaijan Alexander Kalamin said “the subject of the lecture is topical” and highly appreciated the initiative of the Scientific Research Laboratory of Russian studies.
Note that, A.Kalamin presented books to the Scientific Research Laboratory of Russian studies.
At the end of the meeting the participants’ questions were answered.
