Emotions, texts & language from the ancient to the modern : the abiding influence of Sanskrit.

Indian philosophy and art forms have been largely marked  by treatises and works in Sanskrit language. Classical music and dance in India are significantly informed by works and compositions in Sanskrit even today. This ancient, language of the gods, language of the Vedas, has left its imprint on many modern Indian languages as well. It is a matter of curiosity how emotions are communicated through works in an ancient language  and whose presence is felt in multilingual and multicultural India even till date.
