Seminar on "Applied Behavior Analysis" Held at ADU

On March 14, 2024, a seminar titled "Applied Behavior Analysis" was organized by the Inclusive Education Center under the Pedagogy Department of Azerbaijan University of Languages (ADU), in collaboration with the "Birgə və Sağlam" Public Union.

The seminar focused on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and the application of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) as an effective method for its correction. The speaker provided a detailed overview of ASD and explained how ABA, a globally recognized approach, is used to address the challenges associated with ASD. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions, which were answered in depth.

The seminar also highlighted the inclusion of ABA as a separate subject in the curriculum for students specializing in Correctional Education at ADU. The introduction of ABA into the program was commended, emphasizing the importance of equipping future educators with the necessary tools to work effectively with individuals on the autism spectrum.
