A Meeting Between Azerbaijan University of Languages (ADU) and Labor Market Representatives

On December 18, 2024, Azerbaijan University of Languages (ADU) hosted a significant meeting with representatives from the labor market. The event was attended by Dr. Nigar Zeynalova, Head of the Pedagogy Department at ADU, along with faculty members from the Foreign Language Teaching program, the Master's Department, and the Faculty of Education. Delegations from key institutions such as the Target Companies Group, European Azerbaijan School, Kaspi Lyceum, School-Lyceum Complex, and School No. 27 were also present.

The primary focus of the meeting was to foster stronger collaborations between schools and higher education institutions. Discussions revolved around strategies to improve the participation of students in volunteer programs, enhancing graduates' competitive skills, and addressing the evolving needs of the labor market. Key competencies required in today's dynamic job environment were also explored, emphasizing the importance of aligning educational programs with industry demands.

Additionally, the meeting provided an opportunity for students to participate in surveys, enabling them to share their feedback on these topics and contribute to the ongoing dialogue about shaping future educational and career pathways.
