On the final day of the September session the site of the Open Education Center at the Azerbaijan University of Languages summed up the results of the implementation of its rich program. During the session training was carried out in two educational courses - " Modern Russian education trends in the practice of teaching Russian and foreign languages" and "Russian literature in the prism of  multicultural personality ", series of educational events was held. Master classes and lectures were organised at the Center site, at the educational institutions of Azerbaijan, and at the Russian House in Baku. Successfully and fully trained course participants, among them were both teachers and students of the university, were awarded certificates in a solemn atmosphere. According to the audience, the content and the format of the educational and awareness raising events were certainly interesting and useful. The knowledge and skills, acquired as a result of training are evaluated as significant components for the professional development of a linguist and teacher.
