The joint teamwork of the chairman of the student youth organization of the Azerbaijan University of Languages Nijat Aliyev and the student Maryam Shahalizade were awarded the"Best Project" nomination at the IV International Competition among 14 countries, 33 universities and 300 students.

AUL students took part in the project "STUDENT SHIELD - 2024", dedicated to  combating ideological terrorism of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

This competition was organized by the Center for Combating Terrorism of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and the Moscow State Linguistic University among students of universities of  CIS and  Middle East countries.

Students from Azerbaijan, Russia, China, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Vietnam, Palestine and other countries took part in the international competition.

Academician Kamal Abdulla, Rector of AUL, awarded the winners and wished them success in their further activities.
