An agreement on cooperation between AUL and the Education Development Fund has been signed

On September 18, within the framework of the "TələbəPlus" project, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) and the Education Development Fund. The agreement was signed by AUL rector, academician Kamal Abdulla, and the chairman of the board of the Fund Elnur Nasibov.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, the rector of the Azerbaijan University of Languages, Academician Kamal Abdulla, spoke about the significant gains, achieved by the university in recent years, about the successful cooperation with higher educational institutions of many countries. Emphasizing the successful start of the new academic year, the rector noted that the Azerbaijan University of Languages, one of the most prestigious universities in the world in the international rating tables, in the 2024/2025 academic year fulfilled the plan of admission to the bachelor's degree by 99.09%. According to the results of admission to the Azerbaijan University of Languages in the new academic year, 63 students scored more than 600 points, and four students scored more than 650 points.

Speaking at the event, Chairman of the Board of the Education Development Fund Elnur Nasibov noted, that the main mission of the Fund is to achieve sustainable development of education, and active participation in ensuring state educational policy.. The "TələbəPlus" project, implemented by the Education Development Foundation, is aimed at ensuring students to take advantage both from benefits and discounts, as well as supporting their social life.

Elnur Nasibov noted, that within the framework of the "TələbəPlus" project, an agreement was reached to provide students with discounts in various trade and catering facilities with more than 250 companies of the Education Development Fund together with partners. In addition, the Ministry of Culture and the State Agency for Tourism provide special discounts for students in certain areas. Currently, negotiations are underway on the introduction of benefits in public transport as well.

Initially, within the framework of the "TələbəPlus" project, it is planned to issue 150 thousand student cards. It is expected that "TələbəPlus" cards, aimed at creating innovations in the students’ social and academic life , will be put into operation from the end of October. In the future, "TələbəPlus" cards will be issued in stages to students studying in higher educational institutions, as well as in colleges and vocational educational institutions.
