On September 6, a meeting was held with students, who scored more than 600 points during of the entrance exams to the Azerbaijan University of Languages in the 2024/2025 academic year.

Rector of the Azerbaijan University of Languages, Academician Kamal Abdulla, congratulating  newly admitted students, expressed the hope that their choice will provide opportunities to build their future career, and the knowledge and skills, that they  will acquire during their studies at the university, will allow them to become worthy citizens of our country.

The rector, encouraging  students not only to receive a good education, but also to actively engage in scientific, cultural, social work, to be useful to society with heir talents and literacy. Further, the rector spoke of the progress, achieved by the university in recent years, as well as of expanding international relations, favorable conditios, created at the university for students, important projects implemented, the activities of language and cultural centers.

Academician Kamal Abdulla, emphasizing the importance of the annual project "Khalif for one day" held in the AUL for the formation of students' management skills, also noted that the university, in order to form a personal library of first-year students, is implementing a free book project.

 

Then the chairman of the trade union committee of the AUL, Associate Professor Misger Mamedov, the dean of the Faculty of Philology, Professor Hamida Aliyeva, the dean of the Faculty of Education 1, Professor Fikret Jahangirov, spoke in detail about the possibilities of the university in various areas and wished the students success.

At the meeting, gifts were presented to four students who scored more than 650 points according to the results of admission exams to the Azerbaijan University of Languages in the 2024/2025 academic year - Aisha Huseynova, Khalida Aliyeva, Shahzade Valiyeva and Dunya Asadova.

Speaking about the importance of the event, students and their parents shared their good impressions and expressed their gratitude to the management of the AU for the warm welcome.

The meeting continued with questions of the students.

It should be noted that the plan for admission to the Azerbaijan University of Languages for the 2024/2025 academic year to the bachelor's degree has been fulfilled by 99.02%.

According to AUL admission  results in the 2024/2025 academic year, 63 students scored more than 600 points, 556 students - more than 500 points, 428 students - more than 400 points. The average entrance score for the university is 425-430 points.
