AUL received guests from Firat University

On June 7, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs of Firat University in Turkey, Professor Mehmet Yilmaz and External Relations Coordinator of International Relations Department Izzet Tashar visited Azerbaijan University of Languages. Rector of AUL, Academician Kamal Abdulla and other top officials of the university attended the meeting.

Academician Kamal Abdulla warmly welcomed the guests and expressed his pleasure to see them at the University. Emphasizing the successful development of relations of Azerbaijan University of Languages with many foreign universities of the world, the rector said he considered today's meeting as a harbinger of new prospects for establishing scientific cooperation with Firat University.

Expressing gratitude for the warm reception and kind words, Prof. Mehmet Yilmaz emphasized the importance of AUL's achievements at the new level. He mentioned that there are opportunities for exchange of teachers and students between the two universities and talked about the importance of cooperation in this direction.

Academician Kamal Abdulla noted the importance of teachers and students joining exchange programs and mutual learning of foreign languages using new teaching methods. He emphasized that the successes, achieved by AUL in this direction will create a solid basis for cooperation between the two universities.

During the meeting, discussions were held on the possibility of joint implementation of future research projects and mutual application of experimental programs. Both sides agreed to take concrete steps for scientific and academic cooperation and to take appropriate measures in this direction. It was noted that this meeting is an important step for establishing scientific and cultural ties between Azerbaijan University of Languages and Firat University and new opportunities for cooperation between the two brotherly countries.

At the end of the meeting, the sides stated that they will work to establish and develop inter-university ties and mutual support.
