On June 13 a delegation from the Kokand State Pedagogical Institute of Uzbekistan met at the Azerbaijan University of Languages. Rector of the AUL, academician Kamal Abdullayev welcomed the guests and expressed his pleasure to see them at the university. It was noted there are close friendly and partnership relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. These relations have been developing along an ascending line. We see positive results of constant cooperation between our countries in all directions, especially in science and education. "The international language and cultural centers operating in the AUL give priority to scientific cooperation in their work. This creates conditions for the development of our scientific cooperation and further strengthening of our relations," noted the AUL Rector.

Rector of the Kokand State Pedagogical Institute Dilnoza Khojaeva thanked the leadership and staff of the university for the warm welcome and hospitality. It was noted, that establishing cooperation between the universities will be of great importance. The cooperation will create conditions for new opportunities in terms of mutual exchange of experience between teachers and students. Guests were informed of the language and cultural centers at AUL. It was reported, that these centers are doing important work to improve the knowledge and skills of teachers and students.

Rector of Kokand State Pedagogical Institute of Uzbekistan Dilnoza Khodjaeva valued the election of Academician Kamal Abdullayev as an honorary doctor of the institution she leads, as a significant event in the scientific and pedagogical life of the university and awarded him the title of Honorary Doctor.

Then the guests were acquainted with the language and cultural centers operating at AUL.
