An event was held on March 7 at Azerbaijan University of Languages, dedicated to International Women's Day, March 8.

Rector of the university, academician, people's writer Kamal Abdulla congratulated women and girls on the occasion and wished them long life and good health. The rector noted that it is fitting for an Azerbaijani woman to live with a smile on her face: "I believe that our teachers, students, masters and doctoral candidates will continue raising the status of our university. Dear women, dear female students, I wish you good health and happiness."

The event continued with an artistic part.

Students recited poems about mothers in different languages and performed.

At the end, the university dance group "Dalga" performed a dance program.
