A Lecture for Members of the "Indonesian Youth and Students Association in Baku" at Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL)

On February 9, a Lecture on History of Azerbaijan was delivered to members of “Indonesian Youth and Students Association in Baku” with the organization of the Indonesian Studies Center at Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) functioning at AUL. Hokuma Abbasova, a senior lecturer of the Department of Regional Studies of AUL gave detailed information about the historical and architectural monuments of Azerbaijan, such as, the Shirvanshahs Palace, the Maiden Tower, the Ateshgah Temple, as well as paintings on the stone, camps, inhabited territories and grave monuments. H.Abbasova dwelt on the territory and rich nature of Azerbaijan and the petroglyphs of Azykhantrop and Gobustan found in the Azykh cave, saying that they had been inhabited since the Paleolithic period, and also spoke about a number of feudal states in Azerbaijan.
It should be noted that the participants of the lecture were provided with a video about the promotion of historical and cultural values of Azerbaijan.
