Prof. Afgan Abdullayev, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs of the Azerbaijan University of Languages ​​(AUL), met with Indonesian journalists who came to Azerbaijan at the invitation of the Association of Journalists of Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on May 31.

Vice-rector A. Abdullaev expressed his pleasure to see the guests at the university. He gave information about the taught languages and ​​functioning centers at AUL. Speaking about the activity of the Indonesian Studies specialty of the Faculty of International Relations and Management of AUL, Abdullayev noted that the students are taught Indonesian language, history, literature, geography, politics, traditions, and culture. He said that AUL cooperated with many Indonesian universities. The official representatives of the Indonesian government are always guests at AUL, Abdullayev said, adding that close relations were established with the Embassy of Indonesia in Azerbaijan.

Then, Abdullayev answered questions of Indonesian journalists on inter-country education, culture and other fields.
