February 25, 2019 Academician Kamal Abdulla, rector of Azerbaijan University of Languages, met Metin Yildiz, founder rector of the International Turkic-Kazakh University named after Khoja Ahmad Yasavi.

Rector Kamal Abdulla expressed his pleasure to see the guest at the University. He said that he was interested in the development of the inter-university relations. He gave information on the faculties, language ​​and cultural centres in Azerbaijan University of Languages. Speaking about the journal "Türkology", Academician KamalAbdulla, who is its editor-in-chef, spoke about the Türkological projects implemented into life in Azerbaijan. He also talked about the project dedicated to the comparative analysis of the eposes of "Song of Nibelungs" and "Kitabi -Dede Korkut". MetinYıldız expressed his gratitude for the sincere reception and spoke about the implementation of the program of Orhun Process by the  Association of the Turkic Universities. The guest mentioned the journal "Turkology" published in his own country. Then they discussed the issues on mutual cooperation, activities aimed at the inservice training of students and teachers, joint projects, conferences and symposiums, as well as the future perspectives.
