Professor Sarkhan Abdullayev, head of the Chair of German Lexicology and Stylistics of Azerbaijan University of Languages, has been elected academician of the International Academy of the Studies of the Turkic World.

The resolution on the election has been adopted by the administrative board of the Academy. A diploma officialzing his membership was presented to Professor Sarkhan Abdullayev.

It must be noted that the International Academy of the Studies of the Turkic World is an international organization founded for the study and propagation of the languages, culture, history and literature of the Turkic World.

The main founders of this academy are Turkey, Azerbaijan, and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
