The event will take place at the main library of the Baku American Center and will include brief remarks, tours to reopened centers, being Maker Space and Kids’ Corner, demonstration of the activities of the named centers, presentation of www.americancorners.az website and new logo, photoshoot with guests and networking. Invitees include AUL administration, BAC partners, and professionals from different institutions and organizations. Official Reopening Ceremony of the Baku American Center will take place on  December 6, 2018 at  Baku American Center of the Azerbaijan University of Languages and U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan. The rector of the Azerbaijan University of Languages, academician Kamal Abdulla and Chargé D'Affaires of the U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan William Gill will greet the guests and deliver their speeches at the ceremony. Baku American Center (U.S. Department of State American Spaces Program) is operating under a special agreement between the Embassy of the United States and Azerbaijan University of Languages signed in 2007 (The agreement was updated in 2018).
