Aynurə Hüseynova, a lecturer in International Journalism at the Department of Azerbaijani Literature of Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL), Doctor of Philosophy in Philology and Associate Professor, participated online on 17 October in the international symposium “International Turkish World Modernisation IV: Language in the Turkish World”, organised by Ege University in İzmir, Türkiye.

At the symposium, Aynurə Hüseynova delivered a presentation entitled “Methods of Expressing National Issues in the Bürhani-həqiqət and Lək-lək Journals”. Her presentation explored the history of Bürhani-həqiqət (1917) and Lək-lək (1914), journals published in Azerbaijani Turkish in Yerevan in the early 20th century, their place in the press of Western Azerbaijan, and their role in the development of national and social thought.

The presentation highlighted the contributions of these publications to the formation of national consciousness, the preservation of the language, and the dissemination of educational ideas.

At the conclusion of the symposium, Aynurə Hüseynova was awarded a certificate of participation.
