Professor Adil Babayev, Head of the Azerbaijani Linguistics Department at the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) visited Kalbajar Refugee School No.1 situated in Ganja on March 7. At the meeting with the pedagogical staff of the school and the pupils, the professor delivered a lecture entitled “Keep the purity of Azerbaijani language together”. He noted that language is a tool that reflects the history and culture of the nation, and it is the most sacred duty of young people to preserve the purity of their native language and bring it to future generations.

Then, the teacher of the Azerbaijani Linguistics Department Aynur Safarli stressed the importance of holding such meetings regularly. She said that language is a national treasure for every nation, and it is honorable profession to protect this wealth.

After the lecture, the professor answered questions from the teachers and pupils.

It should be noted that, within the frames of his visit, A.Babayev also held meetings in Kalbajar City Department of Education.
