Kamal Abdulla met with the rector of Egypt Nahda University.

Rector of Azerbaijan University of Languages, Acting member of ANAS Kamal Abdulla met with Rector of Nahda University of Egypt Mohammad Husam ad-Din.

Welcoming the guest, academician Kamal Abdulla said that Azerbaijan-Egypt relations are at a high level, and AUL cooperates with Nahda University. Kamal Abdulla said that Azerbaijan expressed his hope that these relations will further develop: “Our University employs teachers from Korea, China, France and other countries. We would like to invite experts from your university. This will create closer ties between our universities. At the same time, our acceptance of students from Egypt can become a significant program in the future”.

Rector of Nahda University Mohammad Husam ad-Din said he was proud to meet Kamal Abdulla. He noted that his “Missing Manuscripts” is one of the great works translated into various languages, including Arabic: “I have read your novel with great interest. I am glad that Arabian-language readers will be able to read it. As you know, there is a cooperation agreement between Nahda University and Azerbaijan University of Languages. I am very pleased with that. As a result of this cooperation, students at the University of Languages can study at our university. We are ready to create every opportunity for them”.

Rector of Nahda University said that he is planning to teach Azerbaijani language at the institution he leads: “Azerbaijan is dear for me and I have never felt alien here, because of the secure environment in Azerbaijan. I believe that we will be able to successfully teach Azerbaijani language at our university, because language teaching is very important for relationships”.

During the meeting Mohammad Husam ad-Din invited the academician Kamal Abdulla to Egypt.
