An event dedicated to the “Knowledge Day” was held ar tge Azerbaijan University og Languages on September 14.

The event started with a sounding of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Rector of AUL, acting member of ANAS, honored scientist Kamal Abdulla congratulated teachers and students on the occasion of the beginning of the new academic year, conveyed congratulations to the Minister of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and wished them successes.

Rector Kamal Abdulla spoke about national and international projects implemented at the Azerbaijan University of Languages in 2017-2018 and spoke about the newly created centers, including the establishment of the new ones.

The rector noted that the centers operating in university are doing their job at the highest level. As a result of the work done in this direction, the Azerbaijani language and culture centers are created abroad, and extremely important steps taken in this direction. Speaking about renovation works at the Azerbaijan University of Languages, the rector noted that the audience was provided with necessary equipment to improve the teaching process of the students and teachers, the hall was renovated, the heating system of the university was rebuilt.

Then chairman of the Teachers Trade Union Committee of the Azerbaijan University of Languages, Associate Professor Misgar Mammadov made a report on the 2017-2018 academic year and gave information about production, pedagogical experience and other projects.

Finally, the professor-teacher and student staff also positively evaluated the work done over the past year and congratulared all the staff of the university on the launch of the new academic year.
