Presentation Of The Book “President of Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev On The Model Of Azerbaijan Multiculturalism”.

Series of presentations of the book “President of Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev on the model of Azerbaijan multiculturalism” are being held at the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL). The next event was held on March 13 at the AUL Academic Multiculturalism Research Laboratory (MRL).

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dean of the Faculty of International Relations and Management of AUL, Ibrahim Kazimbayli spoke about the importance of multiculturalism in our country and the importance of holding such events at the university.

PhD in History Ali Farhadov made a report on “Mr. President Ilham Aliyev and Multiculturalism Policy: according to book -“President of Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev about the Azerbaijan model of multiculturalism: selected ideas” (in Azerbaijani, Russian and English). He gave broad information on multiculturalism, islamic solidarity and tolerance, and said that the book was a great asset for scholars and students.

Rashad Ilyasov, PhD in Philology, Scientific Worker of Multiculturalism SRL, delivered a lecture on “Multiculturalism, Religious and Ethnic Communities in Modern Azerbaijan”. He talked about a historical review on the religious and ethnic communities in Azerbaijan, as well as about our state care to them nowadays.

Deputy Dean of the Faculty of International Relations and Management Ali Mammadov delivered a lecture on “Multiculturalism as an ideological basis Azerbaijan’s national policy” and noted that many ethnic groups living in our country are multicultural preferences of our country.

Teacher of the Foreign Language Teaching Methodology Chair, Konul Farajbeyli, delivered a lecture on “From the speech of Mr. Ilham Aliyev during the business visit of Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Azerbaijan”, she spoke about the brotherhood and friendship of the Jewish and Azerbaijani peoples.

Associate Professor Irina Kunina, Head of AUL’s Multiculturalism SRL, valued multiculturalism as a richness of Azerbaijan’s multicultural environment.

Finally, students shared their views on the subject.
