On March 16, the event was organized by the Azerbaijan University of Languages and the US Embassy Baku American Center.

The main purpose of the event is the celebration of Nowruz Holiday, one of our ancient holidays, the protection of our national traditions, moral and psychological purification of people, and the wide propagation among the world people.

During the event, the students of the Baku American Center of AUL told about the history of Nowruz Holiday, national traditions and celebration of “International Nowruz Day”.

Wind instruments Ochestra of the Mardakan settlement No.2 Boarding School, students of the Republican Children’s Creativity Center, Zangilan School No.4 students, small talents of the Baku American Center performed musical program consisting of national dances and songs.

Performance of “Kosa” and “Kechel” on the stage, Speech of Spring Girl, Vocal- Nowruz Song, Nowruzum Song, sketches, “Injelik” dance, “Shalaku” dance, Zagatala, Golden Poppy and “Yalli” dances were demonstrated.
