On March 15, Vice-rector on Educational Affairs of the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL), Professor Afgan Abdullayev met with the parliamentary delegation of Romania, which is visiting Azerbaijan form March 13 to March 16.

During the meeting, Professor Abdullayev expressed his satisfaction with the guests visit to AUL and gave detailed information about the university, its history, professors and students. Professor also spoke about international relations of AUL. A.Abdullayev said that AUL had good relations with several Romanian universities. He said that the national holiday of Romania- Spring Day- Martisor is celebrated at AUL in high level.

The importance of inter-state relations was mentioned in the meeting. The opening of the Romanian Center at AUL and its future directions were discussed at the meeting.

It is important to note that Victor Paul Dobre, the head of the Romania-Azerbaijan Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group, headed the delegation to visit our country to attend the Silk Road Conference, organized by the Milli Majlis on March 14 and 15.
