On December 3, on the initiative of US- educated Azerbaijani Alumni Social Union, Baku American Center of Information Resource Complex of AUL and the Embassy of USA to our country, career day and job fair was held at Azerbaijan University of Languages. To find young and professionals with higher education and potential employees, also which aims to promote youth employment, newcomer to the fair got the opportunity to get information about the current vacancies, to meet with the representatives of international and local companies operating in Azerbaijan.

First, the director of Information Recourse Complex Shahla Khudiyeva spoke about the importance of the fair added to her words that the fair has been systematically held more than 10 years. Noting nearly 20 companies joined the fair, Shahla Khudiyeva  expressed that the event was attended by  the alumni of universities of the USA, experienced specialists and they will share their practice and knowledge with the participants. She also noted that, the main goal of the event is to play platform-mediator role among the new, experienced staff that is in search of work with business and state structures.

Vice president of the embassy of USA to Azerbaijan William Gill highly appreciated holding of such event at AUL and thanked everybody who contributed. He noted that the number of alumni exchange program between Azerbaijan and USA is more than 5000. Vice president of mission said that thanks to the education in the USA working as a leading specialist in state and private agencies played an important role in the development of Azerbaijan.  William Gill also expressed that USA education positively influenced the outlook of alumni and supported them in career move.   He expressed his belief that leading and successful alumni will give advices to succeed, both to find job and to meet the representatives of local agencies.

Lectures on "Successful career: challenges and prospects of the public sector", "private business", " to build work relationships and Interviewing Skills", "How to create a personal brand?", "10 ways to establish successful and worthy career," and etc. were heard  at the fair career development sessions.
