Gunay Baghirova, Associate Professor at the Department of English Stylistics of the Faculty of Philology at Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL), PhD in Philology, participated in a teacher training programme held in the United States from July 20 to 28, 2026.

The training programme was held at the New York Language Center (NYLC), a language centre located in New York City.

As part of the programme, Gunay Baghirova visited several universities, including Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). She also visited a number of museums and galleries, including the Statue of Liberty, the National Gallery of Art, the NASA Museum, the Queens Museum, and The Metropolitan Museum of Art (The Met).

In addition, her visit to the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Boston and her invitation as a guest by a hospitable Azerbaijani family were noteworthy.

At the end of the training programme, Gunay Baghirova was presented with a certificate.
