On December 8, on the initiative of senior instructor  of the Department of Psychology Sevinj Amirova an open lesson on “the role of lullabies in children's mental development” was held at Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL). The open lesson which was attended by head of the university's Department of Psychology, Associate Professor Jeyhun Aliyev, head of the Department of Curriculum and Education Policy Shafag Shahmammadova, III course students of the School of Education  (English-German) were provided information on formation history of lullabies which belong to folk literature, its role in children's psychological development. At the same time S.Amirova demonstrated a slide reflecting lullaby samples of different nations, types of lullabies, psychological analysis.
