On December 23, competition on "The best pronunciation” dedicated to December 31 - Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis was held on the initiative of the Department of English phonetics at Azerbaijan University of Languages.

Second year students of the School of Education (English-German and English-French) demonstrated their abilities in English pronunciation. 11 people from 40 students who took part in the first stage of the competition   competed for first place in the next stage.

The pronunciation skills of the students who took part in the competition were appreciated by the jury. Student of the School of Education (English-German) ESSEX 6 group Esmira Hasanova has been awarded  the first place.

Other winners of the competition were awarded with encouraging diplomas .
