On May 2, on the initiative of the Department of Linguoculturology an object lesson on the flowers holiday devoted to Memorial Day of national leader Heydar Aliyev was held at Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL).

Object lesson was attended by the dean of the School of Philology and Journalism Vusala Aghabayli, head of the named department, Professor Masmakhanim Gaziyeva, and teaching staff of the department and was initiated  by the teacher of the Department  of Linguculturology Saadat Novruzova.

 238 b group students majoring in English language and literature teaching provided information about various flowers through the slide in English. The students performed "Tulips" song.

The event was also shown a video slide dedicated to the life and activity of national leader Heydar Aliyev.
