Norwegian professors gave a lecture at AUL

The acting rector of Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL), Professor Afgan Abdullayev met with Norwegian professor as part of a cooperation project " Critical approach  to academic writing and reading", covering the years 2017-2018 of AUL and  Norway's Agder University.

Welcoming the guests, Professor A.Abdullayev was pleased to see them at the university. He spoke about the history of the university, international relations, teaching process and noted that AUL is one of the prestigious institutions of higher education. A.Abdullayev spoke about the Nordic Center at the University and said that for the first time AUL was in collaboration with Agder University. He spoke about the project of cooperation between International Summer School of University of Oslo and AUL. University students and teachers take part within this project every year in summer school in Oslo, he said.

Expressing his gratitude for warm reception, the guests expressed their delight to AUL. They noted that they read a lecture, held discussions in connection with academic writing and reading and answered their questions during the day.

Note that, the lectures were given on May 4-5, by the professors at the University of Agder, Norway Svein Slittan, Elisa Sleyp Tonnesson, Gro Rene Rambo and Bente Velle Hellang and  considered for the university's School of Regional and International Relations students majoring in Scandinavian studies.

In two-day discussions the students' questions were answered.
