On May 5, Translation School student, the United States (US) Embassy translator Khagani Aliyev met with university students in order conduct a  seminar on consecutive translation at Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL). Speaking at the event dean of the School of Translation Zarina Aslanova introduced the visitor to the students.

K.Aliyev gave detailed information about the unique features and the intricacies of the art of translation, and qualities needed to be molded as a professional translator, the ethical aspects in the translation process. He stressed the importance of broad outlook of the ideal interpreter, research and investigation, to have the ability to reach points in the meaning of the words, but also the wealth of communication and speaking skills.

The meeting ended with answering the students' questions.
