On December 13, an event dedicated to the 125th anniversary according to the decree of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan to mark  one of the well-known representatives of Azerbaijan literature, writer, translator, publisher and public figure, Jeyhun Hajibeyli's 125th anniversary  was held at Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL).

Faculty and students attended the event which was held on the initiative of the head of the Reading hall, one of the sections of Library Information Centre (LIC) Gulluzar Mammadova.

It was dealt with J.Hajibeyli’s services in the field of development and promotion of our culture, life and creativity. It was also noted that having a special role in Azerbaijan literary history Jeyhun Hajibeyli is a prominent representative of Hajibeyovs .

Later a video film dealing with J. Hajibeyli’s personality, activities was watched.
