On April 20, an essay competition titled “Heydar Aliyev: Urban Planning and Architecture” was held at the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL), dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of the birth of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev. The event was organized on the initiative and financial support of the Trade Union Committee of Education and Science Workers, with the participation of the Faculty of Philology, as well as the Departments of Stylistics of the English Language and Foreign Language Teaching Methodology.

The competition was held among undergraduate students of the Faculty of Philology. In total, 14 students from the Department of Stylistics of the English Language and 4 students from the Department of Foreign Language Teaching Methodology participated in the event.

It was noted that the winners and participants of the competition will be awarded diplomas and certificates in May.
