On March 16, on the initiative of senior teacher of the department of Linguoculturology Dinara Mukhtarova an event was held  with the participation of schoolchildren at Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL). The guests were pupils of 53 secondary school in Baku, Yasamal district of the event, which aims to expand relationships between AUL and secondary schools, to create the initial idea about university at pupils, and to form a full opinion giving them detailed information.

Head of the department of Linguoculturology, Professor Masmakhanim Gazieva spoke about the purpose of the event and said that it can play an important role in the formation of ideas about university and student life at pupils. Noting that at present, more than 20 languages are taught at the University M.Gazieva spoke about the learning process of the university, the international relations. She wished the students success in their education and to see them as students of AUL.

Senior  teachers of the department Dinara Mukhtarova and Ilaha Alieva informed pupils about similar and different features between higher and secondary schools. They conducted an interactive method to teach English language with the aim of reviving the visual form of skills.

At the end pupils of secondary school No. 53 informed about the attributes of Novruz holiday in English and performed various dance numbers.
