Chinese language qualification exams were held at AUL

The Confucius Institute acting within Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL), which is an official testing center for the Chinese held Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK) and Hanyu Shuiping Kouyu Kaoshi (HSKK) exams on Chinese language for the first time. Tests, which consist of several levels, are the standard qualification exam of people who don’t posses Chinese language skills.
The vast majority of exams’ participants were the students of AUL and other universities, as well as the audience of the Confucius Institute.
The head of Confucius Institute, Professor Rafig Abbasov noted that successful implementation of the HSK / HSKK exams and acquisition of international certificate create opportunities for a scholarship to study in the People's Republic of China (PRC), as well as privileges of employment in Chinese companies. He said that successful implementation of the HSK / HSKK exams are the evidence of the increasing interest in this language in Azerbaijan.
