Meeting Held at AUL with the Yunus Emre Institute
On April 9, a meeting was held at Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL), organized by the Turkic World Studies Center, between the university’s rector, academician Kamal Abdulla, and the Azerbaijan coordinator of the Yunus Emre Institute, Gökhan Seyhan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed expanding mutual cooperation and implementing joint projects. It was noted that the main goal of the planned initiatives is to promote the national and spiritual values, rich cultural heritage, and shared identity of Turkic peoples among the younger generation.
Within the framework of the discussions, special attention was given to the organization of the Turkic World Culture Days. It was noted that this event is planned to be held at Azerbaijan University of Languages.
During the meeting, Rector Kamal Abdulla presented his book “Dede Korkut and Fuzzy Logic” to Gökhan Seyhan. In turn, Gökhan Seyhan presented a work by Chingiz Aitmatov to Kamal Abdulla.
At the end of the meeting, the parties reached an agreement on further developing cooperation and consistently implementing joint projects.
