Within the framework of the 2nd Forum of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, held in the city of Almaty, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) and Astana International University.

The parties discussed current issues related to the development of cooperation in the field of higher education, including academic mobility, joint educational programs, and the expansion of partnership relations.

AUL was represented at the forum by Vice-Rectors Jala Garibova and Shafaq Shahmammadova.

As part of the forum, the opening ceremony of the “Study in Azerbaijan” international exhibition of Azerbaijani higher education institutions was also held at the Farabi Hub Innovation Center of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

The opening ceremony of the exhibition was attended by the Minister of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Emin Amrullayev, the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sayasat Nurbek, as well as rectors and education specialists from leading universities of both countries.
