AUL's employee participated in the international seminar in Japan

The university student was the winner of the competition in the genre of Japanese poetry

Head of the Japan Center of Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) Yashar Ibrahimov, took part in the international seminar on the study of Japanese language and culture from December 5 to 13 at the University of Cukuba in Japan on "South Caucasian states + Moldova".

Speaking at the seminar Yashar Ibrahimov provided information on the teaching of Japanese language in Azerbaijan.

During the event, participants visited Saitama Prefecture, closely  familiarized with the library and working principle  of Japanese International Center Urava.

AUL student Eldaniz Karimov represented our country in the  Forum held on December 9. Our student spoke about the culture of the country, attended the discussions with students from other countries. He was a winner of the Japanese poetry genre haiku.

During the visit, the participants got acquainted with samples of Japanese culture, attended Japanese language classes, visited the temple Usiku Daybutsu.

It should be noted that in March this year an agreement on exchange of students was  signed between Cukuba University and AUL. According to the agreement AUL students won one-year internship program to studnt in Japanese and English in  Cukuba University since 2016.

It should be added that the expansion of friendly relations between the participating countries, the Japanese language development, scientific research works and exchange of ideas between cultures, the difference was considered very important in the discussion, it was noted the importance of holding such events in the future.
