International Event “Novruz as a Symbol of Unity and Kindness of the World” Held with AUL Participation
On March 18, an international event titled “Novruz as a Symbol of Unity and Kindness of the World” was held, jointly organized by Karaganda Technical University named after Abilkass Saginov (Kazakhstan) and the Department of Philosophy and Social Sciences of the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL), with the participation of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University.
The event was attended by faculty members and students of the Faculty of Economics and International Relations of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, as well as faculty and students of Karaganda Technical University. AUL was represented by the Head of the Department of Philosophy and Social Sciences, Associate Professor Adalat Abdiyeva, and Associate Professor Shukufa Jabarova.
During the meeting, students of Karaganda Technical University delivered Novruz greetings and presented national musical compositions dedicated to spring.
Later, Head of the Department of International Relations of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, Professor Nasukh Uslu, welcomed the participants and emphasized the importance of inter-university cooperation. He also congratulated Kazakhstan on the adoption of its new Constitution. It was noted that Novruz is a shared historical and cultural heritage of Turkic-speaking countries.
Then, Head of the Department of Philosophy and Social Sciences of AUL, Associate Professor Adalat Abdiyeva, greeted the participants and spoke about the significance of the Novruz holiday.
Within the framework of the event, Associate Professor Shukufa Jabarova delivered a presentation titled “The Illuminated Manuscript of Spring: Traditions and Rituals of Novruz.” The presentation provided information about the historical and philosophical essence of the holiday and elaborated on the four Tuesdays symbolizing the four elements. It also highlighted Novruz-related traditions in Azerbaijani culture and the особенities of its celebration. Participants’ questions were answered during the session.
At the end of the event, Head of the Department of “Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and Social-Humanitarian Disciplines” at Karaganda Technical University, PhD Dinara Gozmanovna Shormanbayeva, congratulated all participants on the occasion of Novruz, emphasized the importance of continuing such events, and wished everyone peace and well-being.
