On July 4, the "Graduation Day" was held at the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) in the 2016-2017 academic year, who completed their education at the bachelor's and master's degrees.

The event was attended by the rector of AUL, the active  member of ANAS Kamal Abdulla, the teaching staff of the university and students, their parents.

In his speech "Today is really a dear day. I believe that you will preserve today's atmosphere, sincerity and the birth of your life throughout your life, "said Rector Kamal Abdulla, the leader of nation-wide leader Heydar Aliyev, who said:" The great leader said that these students, My savings. "K. Abdulla said that, taking into account these words of the great leader, we will bring our beautiful home to a happy future. The rector believes that today, every young graduate of the university will be honored to be honored, regardless of whether at any point in the world. He expressed hope that today's alumni will continue their relationship with the university throughout their lives. Today, Azerbaijan has embarked on a great way of development and integration into the world community, Kamal Abdulla said, adding that President Ilham Aliyev has a great role in this integration. He noted that as the Azerbaijani cities, streets and squares change, the Azerbaijani youth also changes and tries to be more useful to the country: "I heartily congratulate you on this wonderful mission, and wish each of you a wonderful future."

The rector finished with the words that led to the applause of all the students: "Let Azerbaijan love the Azerbaijani flag, the Azerbaijani anthem, the Azerbaijani state, the Azerbaijani youth, the youth of Azerbaijan University of Languages!".

The graduate Aydan Mammadova's parent, Azizagha Mammadov, thanked all of the students who graduated and congratulated the graduating students and wished them success in their future activities.

The event ended with an artistic part. Elnara Khalilova, a well-known Azerbaijani singer and graduate of AUL, performed music pieces in the artistic part. Then, the students of the university performed different musical numbers, while the Dalga Dance Ensemble demonstrated dance numbers.

Graduates who have taken an active part in the university's public affairs, who were successful in the field of education and who have completed the highest average grade in the 2016-2017 academic year, were awarded with diplomas.

It should be noted that in the 2016-2017 academic year 1457 graduates from the Azerbaijan University of Languages (Bachelor's degree), 72 from the correspondence department, and 128 graduate students on master’s degree.
