On July 7, students of the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL), who completed their 2016-2017 academic year with a successful Korean language education degree, were awarded. Seven out of 12 students of the first year of studying Korean language have successfully completed the academic year. Sevinj Guliyeva, Elmir Gurbanov and Farida Alikhanli were awarded with the monetary award by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Azerbaijan, excluding 4 students from AUL.

Teachers of Korean Language Department closely participated at the awarding ceremony. The purpose of the ceremony was to increase students' interest in Korean and to help them with their future activities.
