A competition on Indonesia was held at AUL

On July 17, the Center for Indonesian studies and the Embassy of Indonesia jointly organized a competition among the students of the I-IV courses of the Indonesian Language and Literature specialization on the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of independence of the Republic of Indonesia at the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL).

Expressing his gratitude to AUL administration for the organization of the competition, Ambassador of Indonesia to Azerbaijan Husnan Bey Fanani said that the essay contest was organized for the first time by the embassy. "The day Indonesia gained its independence is of special importance for Indonesians living in Azerbaijan. I am very glad that there is a close relationship between the Embassy of Indonesia and AUL. Currently, 40 students are studying Indonesian language on Indonesian studies specialty. I hope that the number of these students will increase in the coming years, and students will learn Indonesia more closely. " H.Fanani thanked the students for participating in the competition and wished them successes.

It should be noted that 10 students of AUL's Indonesian studies specialty participated in the competition. They wrote about 250 words in Indonesian people, history, culture and cuisine. The competition will be announced on August 17 on the Independence Day of Indonesia. The winners will be awarded by the Indonesian Embassy.
