An event titled “Silenced Children’s Voices in Khojaly” was held at Azerbaijan University of Languages

On February 25, an event titled “Silenced Children’s Voices in Khojaly” was held at Azerbaijan University of Languages. The event was jointly organized by the Scientific Library and Information Service Center, the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy of the Faculty of Education, and the Inclusive Center.

Within the framework of the event, the Scientific Library and Information Service Center organized an exhibition of books and publications reflecting the realities of Khojaly. The exhibition featured literature dedicated to the memory of the victims of the tragedy as well as materials presenting historical facts.

During the event, students of group 226 presented a theatrical performance, recited patriotic poems, and screened a video dedicated to the Khojaly tragedy. The dean of the faculty, the head of the department, faculty members, the head of the library department, and the head of the reading hall division emphasized that the Khojaly tragedy is a tragic chapter in the history of Azerbaijan and highlighted the importance of preserving the memory of these events and passing them on to the younger generation.

The main purpose of the event was to strengthen patriotic feelings among students, promote historical truths, and honor the memory of the victims of the tragedy with respect.
