Employees of Confucius Institute under the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) held a meeting with the participant of the V International multicultural summer school in the context of "Intercultural Dialogue in the Context of Religious and Cultural Diversity - Interfaith Harmony in Intercultural Dialogue in Azerbaijan", Lie Mei from Hong Kong.

Director of the Confucius Institute, Professor Rafig Abbasov gave detailed information to the guest about the successful development of education and science in Chinese language, study of the history of Silk Road within the framework of China's "One Pipeline, One Way" global project and its educational and public propaganda.  R. Abbasov noted that the multiculturalism policy, laid down by the national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev and successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev, is one of the world's multicultural centers.

Lie Mei noted that Azerbaijan's experience in understanding ideological processes in polyethnic environment like Azerbaijan helps young people. He said that the people of Azerbaijan deserve respect for the centuries-old model of compassion, love and care, which is based on ethnicity, religious diversity, and a unique multiculturalism model.
