On February 19, the opening ceremony of the renovated Azerbaijan Language and Culture Center was held at the National University of Modern Languages (NUML) in Islamabad. The Center was renewed through the cooperation of the Azerbaijan University of Languages and the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Pakistan.

The ceremony was attended by Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Khazar Farhadov, NUML Rector Shahid Mahmud Kayani, and other guests. A video address by the Rector of the Azerbaijan University of Languages was also presented during the event.

Students Hira Niaz and Hafsa Rashid recited Azerbaijani poetry. The Center aims to promote the study of the Azerbaijani language and to foster cultural and academic cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
