Reception of applicants for the first year of the bachelor's degree of the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) has been started since the beginning of the 2017-2018 academic year.

According to information received from Mammad Ismayilov, a responsible person at the Admission Commission of AUL, this year AUL has been admitted to 36 specialties and 95 percent of the places announced in the first stage. According to him, the first day of admission 132 applicants from 1333 students admitted to AUL have already been registered. Noting that  Admissions Commission consisting of 19 admissions entrants has been set up at the university, M.Ismayilov said that they should register with the students by submitting relevant documents to the university from August 15, 2017 until August 25, 2017, otherwise they will be refused and noted that the orders on admission would not be sent to higher education institutions. Saying that the registration process was comfortable and successful, M.Ismayilov noted that during the registration period, the volunteer students of the university also helped them to make the registration process more comfortable.

Entrants admitted to Azerbaijan University of Languages and their parents shared their impressions with us.

Yagut Novruzova, who received 467 points and entered the School of Regional Studies and International Relations at the AUL, said she likes to go abroad and study their history.

"At this university, there are broad opportunities to increase my knowledge of language. My teachers, who were preparing me for the exam, have also been advised of the University of Languages, "says Yaqut Novruzova, who said that she could not keep up with her grandfather's tears when she heard about her admission.

Yagut's grandfather, Yusif Novruzov, also said that AUL is one of the leading universities in the country. He said he was glad to see his eldest granddaughter enter this university.

"I have entered to my favorite university and I am very glad," said Turkana Khaspoladzadeh, who entered the School of Education of AUL with 419 points. T. Khaspoladzadeh said that she always wished to study at the Azerbaijan University of Languages and always said she was interested in the activities of the university.

Turkana's mother, Ragiya Asadova, said she was eagerly waiting for her daughter to be admitted to the university.

"University of Languages was a university that our family wanted. Because this is a state university and a university with a great history, "said the parent, saying that after graduating from AUL, a great deal of job opportunities would be opened. R. Asadova, an internally displaced person from the Lachin region, said that they were supportive of Turkana for her education. R. Asadova advised to the young people who want to study to read carefully and comprehensively, wished them all joy.

Parents and students taking part in the registration process expressed their satisfaction with the registration process and stated that they had successfully registered their documents in a friendly, simple and convenient manner.
