Kamal Abdulla met with Polish Deputy Foreign Minister

On August 17, the rector of Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL), Acting member of ANAS, honored scientist Kamal Abdulla met with Deputy Foreign Minister Jan Chesicak, Director of Polish Foreign Affairs Department Mateusz Stasiek, Polish Foreign Ministry Diplomatic Andrei Fafara, temporary advisor to the Polish ambassador to Azerbaijan Andrei Jankovsky, head of the Caucasus Department of the Caucasus Ministry of Foreign Affairs Peter Konovrocky.

Welcoming the guests, the rector said he was pleased to see them at the university. Saying that Azerbaijan-Poland relations are based on a sound foundation, Kamal Abdulla expressed hope that these relations will further develop in a serious and useful way: "In all international events and forums, Poland has defended Azerbaijan's right position and representatives of Poland actively participated at the international. This is a clear indication of the high level of Polish-Azerbaijani relations. The two presidents have a great role in establishing such high-level relations, and we are glad that relations with a country like Poland are at a high level today. There can be no doubt that these relations will reach a higher level in the future ".

Kamal Abdulla has always said with pleasure that during the rector of the Baku Slavic University - the arrival of the Polish president, Lekh Kaczynski, in 2009, he was admitted to the university and presented him an honorary doctorate diploma.

The Rector noted that Lekh Kaczynski had special services in the development of cooperation between Poland and Azerbaijan, the strengthening of friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Poland, expansion and deepening of relations between our countries in the fields of science, education and culture.

The rector hopes that the Polish culture, literature, language will be promoted and taught at the Azerbaijan University of Languages, and he hopes that, thanks to mutually beneficial cooperation, bigger work will be done in this direction. Kamal Abdulla also noted the importance of teaching Azerbaijani language, literature, culture and history in Polish universities and opening new centers for this purpose. "I think this issue should be of both yours and our interest".

Kamal Abdulla proposed the creation of the Polish Center by informing the centers operating at the Azerbaijan University of Languages: "I hope that the relations between our country and our university will be strengthened. We are ready to do our best in this direction".

Expressing his gratitude to Kamal Abudlla for his high hospitality, Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Jan Chesicak expressed his solidarity with the rector's remarks on the development of relations. Yan Chesicak noted that he supports the idea of establishing a Polish Center at the university and will try to take the necessary steps to implement this idea as soon as possible.

At the end of the meeting, the guests were given a book titled "Literary and artistic sources of Azerbaijani multiculturalism".
